Too many smart, ambitious women with big visions for their lives waste literal years waiting.
The life you want is slipping away while you hesitate.
You wait for opportunities to fall in your lap, daydreaming of how something will change or fall into place, never realizing the Universe is waiting on you to act.
You think you need to be patient and wait for clarity when the truth is - your life will change when you take bold, decisive action.
You work so hard at your job, barely putting a fraction of that energy and effort into your own dreams, goals and desires - the things that truly matter.
And each passing day, each passing year, you feel less certain in what you want, or your ability to create it, because every moment spent waiting adds weight to the fear that you’re delusional for wanting to monetize your soul’s gifts that mean something to you.
This disconnection from your boldness, fire and DESERVINGNESS to monetize your truest gifts is literally destroying your potential.
The real problem isn’t timing, or lack of clarity, time or money. It’s the hesitation to take bold action.
That’s why it’s time to go all in on your creative vision in 2025.
Today I’m going to talk about what it means to go all in, what it doesn’t mean, and exactly how to do it.
This will give you clarity to monetize your soul’s creative vision without second-guessing yourself or flicking between ideas and strategies, making progress on none.
First I want to share WHY this method is so powerful for mapping out bold, strategic risks and creating extraordinary results in a short time.
Every single time I’ve broken free from a cycle of stagnancy to create insane results, it’s because I went all in.
Years ago when I was working a toxic marketing job while living as a mermaid in the desert, I felt trapped and questioned all my life choices leading up to that moment.
I’d taken risks, some of which turned out really well, like moving to Hawaii after college to follow my dream of traveling the world while doing crazy things and writing about it.
One of the happiest moments of my life was sitting on a beach alone, watching the sunset, with the only key in my possession the new (to me) Volvo with a broken radio and sunroof. I never felt so free, and years later, after I got cancer, the first thing I thought was — I’m so glad I went to Hawaii and followed my dream in case I die.
And yet, despite all my efforts to create an interesting life built around my passions, I still somehow ended up in a soulless beige suburban strip mall hell.
This made me doubt myself. I questioned whether I had what it took to build my dreams, even if I didn’t know what they were anymore.
Because I felt so disappointed and frustrated, I blamed everything and everyone around me, feeling powerless to make a change.
Deep down I hoped the universe would change my life for me and save me from my surroundings.
Instead, I had to dig deep within and save myself.
One day during the summer of 2014, I decided I was done feeling this way and vowed to go all in on changing my life.
Many of you know this story by now, and have even experienced the life-changing magic yourself through The Big Shift! But I did a 40-day yoga practice and combined it with deep inner work (the strategies I teach) to fully accept myself and my life.
Today I am so beyond grateful to have built the most amazing online community and supported thousands of women to take bold action to more authentic, meaningful lives.
Going all in on changing my life was hard.
It required discipline.
It required me to keep going and keep my promise to myself even when it felt like nothing was happening and I wondered what the point was.
It required going all in.
What ‘going all in’ actually means
Going all in isn’t about overnight results. It’s about:
Dedicating yourself fully to the daily grind of small, repeated steps and habits. It may feel like nothing is happening, but over time it all adds up.
This is the most important part of achieving your goals: Learning how to persevere even when it doesn’t look like anything’s happening.
Momentum takes time to build, and the beginning of any endeavor requires a lot of energy to get going.
It’s important to trust the process and trust that if you keep going, it’ll all add up.
Committing to moves that stretch you.
This could look like taking 10x action. For example, right now I’m posting on YouTube, Instagram and Substack while also building out a signature framework and program with the help of a coach because I’m dedicated to helping more people live their purpose.
I’ve been stagnant for a few years, and I’m over it. It’s time to grow.
You can also take scary action, like creating a habit of reaching out to people you’d like to work with.
Obsessing over building skills to succeed.
Consistency isn’t enough. You need to learn what works.
For example, I spent three months learning Substack, and the next three months learning YouTube. The difference between just posting and posting intentionally is…wild.
With intentional posting, I get engagement and growth. When I don’t post intentionally, my results show that.
I think sometimes people don’t learn the intricacies of their craft because then it doesn’t hurt as much if you fail.
Spiritual and creative people tend to resist strategy, thinking it inauthentic or if it’s meant to be, it will be.
I see strategy as something that ensures my gifts help those who need them.
If my work gets lost in an algorithm or people whose lives would be changed by my guidance don’t join my programs, that doesn’t serve anyone.
And fate is real, but so is free will. We all have the power to devote ourselves to learning how to succeed at the things we’re called to do.
This work can be tedious and overwhelming at times, but it’s natural for growth to feel overwhelming.
You’re so much stronger than you think, and will be so proud of yourself when what used to feel challenging becomes effortless.
Going all in to achieve your boldest dreams requires arranging your entire life around a singular desire.
That includes not only amplified efforts around your goal — building a business, finding a new career, writing a book or even finding your purpose (which I can help you do, even if you’ve been looking for awhile) —
But also identifying the ways you need to support yourself during this season of intense focus.
You become an athlete training for the Olympics.
You take recovery seriously. You sleep well, eat well, workout, relax deeply.
You forgo watching Netflix, scrolling on Instagram or even reading unrelated books — unless it’s a strategic part of your recovery plan.
You simply don’t have the time. You’re focused.
You’re in the montage part of the movie, like in Dirty Dancing when Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey are practicing for their big performance in the lake, in the studio, and on the bridge while music plays.
This isn’t something you do forever.
It’s something you do for a season to create a turning point, a pivotal moment in your life.
In fact, I’d argue it’s something you must do to truly break through into a new level.
Small steps and consistent action maintain momentum, but relying on them means you’re only treading water.
If you want big results, you need a big plan with 110% commitment.
Three months of intense, focused effort on a singular goal will change your life forever.
This is the framework and intention behind my signature 3-month coaching program, Creative Genius, which supports ambitious women in mapping out and monetizing their soul’s creative vision.
🌹 If you’re ready to go all in and make 2025 the year everything changed for you, email or DM me “creative genius,” and let’s talk about what working together would look like. 🌹
People often feel frustrated they’re not getting the results they want without being honest with themselves about their level of action.
Patience is definitely a virtue, but sometimes people lie to themselves about needing more time when what they really need is more effort.
Patience isn’t always self-love. Sometimes patience is actually the fear of taking bold action.
If you’ve been struggling to find clarity on your life’s vision, do your creative work consistently or reach a far-off goal, the lightbulb moment you’ve been waiting for isn’t coming.
Clarity doesn’t come through waiting.
Waiting only reinforces doubt and the sense that you’re not ready. It wrecks your confidence as you take on the identity as someone who’s not sure. Someone who waits and struggles.
Start now.
Imagine how much your life will change in just 3 months after going all in, taking strategic risks and bold action to start your business / sell your art / launch your freelance life, knowing that your success is inevitable.
Because it is.
Whenever I feel like my life isn’t where I want it to be, I ask myself a simple, but powerful question that changes everything.
I’ll be sharing that with members of the Journaling Club this week.
