Your words resonated deeply with what I've been noticing for years about myself. You've really put the finger on what prevents black sheeps like us to live a fulfilling life. It isnt easy to be the black swan especially when your soul chose the extra-spicy track in her reincarnation by putting you into a family AND country that glorify the normal and shun the different.

Super interesting read. I'm going to explore your courses also today, I'm curious to know more about what you do. 🌻

I’m so glad the blog resonated with you, Issa! I believe it’s part of our souls’ journeys to learn how to trust our visions regardless of the “normal” propaganda surrounding us. Doing that is an important part of creating soulful success, and is, in my experience, deeply freeing on its own. Awesome to hear you’re curious to explore my offerings! I don’t currently have any courses available, although one is in the works. You may enjoy my Shadow work workshop, which has an entire video & workbook on releasing the shame around your gifts and desires. And of course, if you’d like to join The Journaling Club membership, I’d be honored to support your journey 🌹🙏🏼

Thank you, Suzanne. Looking forward to dive into your world deeper a bit later this week. The work you do resonates a lot.

And I agree, the more of my authentic self I release, the more my life aligns with it, and the more free, empowered, aligned and fulfilled I feel. Life becomes this wonderful experience when it was all about coping with the "normal" ways and fitting in.

It's not easy to be different, but I wouldn't trade this for the other side! Grateful for my soul journey even though it can be lonely and tough at times. 🙏

You know this about me, but I’ve often felt attached to where I “should” be by now (whether I’m looking solely at myself or even comparing myself to others). In the last few months truly surrendering to my journey has been incredibly freeing and I’m enjoying the opportunities that are making themselves known to me ☺️

That’s amazing, Cole! It’s wonderful how we can lock into that groove, and ride it like a wave. In that zone, magical things happen! It’s been truly amazing to witness your journey, and I thank you for sharing it with me, and the rest of the Club! 🌹

I loved it Suzanne. So true that most/many people are content to clock in and out, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s … different . Hard relate to. Finding others who want this other kind of life where we want to use our gifts to serve, is a search many of us are on, I think. Thank you for allowing me to feel less lonely and weird!! I feel I have community out there!

It’s definitely a different kind of life! And yes - it is hard to find like-minded people. That’s why I created the Journaling Club! My vision is to gather ambitious creatives to support each other as they do the inner mindset and outer practical work to fulfill their purpose and create success by following their hearts. 🌹

I'm one of the lucky ones who found her purpose very early in life and then immediately found the job to match it. However, I can still relate to that feeling of needing to fit in or feeling as if you have to do something because "it just makes sense". For me that was mostly around how I live the other aspects of my life. I have a professional job, but outside of that I don't want to live "inside the norm" - and I no longer do, but it took me a while to feel as if I could pursue that. Not sure if my ramblings make any sense, but your article made me think of that 😅

That's amazing, Sophie! What do you do for work? It's awesome how you have such an all encompassing vision for your life, and how you've made it all a reality!

Oh boy do I relate! I spent my whole 20s moving around jobs trying to find one that felt right. Now in my 30s I’ve come to recognise I’m someone who needs purpose to find fulfillment in my life. But I’m still wrestling with this. The fog is starting to clear, and I’m beginning to see what that actually looks like for me. But I feel deeply uncomfortable (crippled even) with the concept of not playing small and fitting in with the crowd.

You feel uncomfortable NOT fitting in? That’s a great awareness! Powerful inner work to be done, and that’s exactly why fulfilling your purpose is the personal growth curriculum your soul chose before incarnating. If you want support around this, I encourage you to join The Journaling Club! I’ve overcome these things and I can help you. 🌹

Suzanne, I'm lucky to have always had a clear life purpose. My purpose has evolved over the decades and is evolving now. Your insights on finding and nourishing our purpose illustrate how we can easily trip ourselves up and help me watch out for potential traps like the lure of entertainment! I appreciate that so much.

Amazing to hear you’ve always had a clear connection to purpose! I always wanted that but it took a long time to find. I love how you say it evolves. I always say, “purpose is followed, not found,” and that’s exactly why. We change, the world changes, and the show goes on! Definitely keeps things interesting! 😊

I'm so happy I started writing and began a new career following my passions which are becoming my gift.

It takes courage to leave the "normal" and connect with your purpose but it's worthwile.

I don't believe people are genuinely happy clocking in and out but we get numbed and comply...

Great read!

Your journey is such an inspiration, Veronica! It does take courage to leave normal. I think you’re on to something about growing numb to the clock-in life ♥️

I believe in purpose. It helped me after a lifetime of feeling uneasy with that word happiness. I understand and agree with your reasons why most do not strive for something meaningful. First, you have to accept that normal people will not understand. I would also like to add the comparison trap makes many people quit anything worthwhile before they start. So many things seem out of reach, and now we have easy access to what people do no matter what purpose one serves. So, I am saying comparisons are everywhere and at an all-time high.

Comparison is so common! Definitely important to put blinders on ♥️🙏🏼
